News from Oct 22, 2024
As part of the Bachelor's seminar “Global Environmental politics and Implementation” (Prof. Partzsch), students Laura Bongardt, Morgann Darche und Moritz Dorn produced a podcast on the relevance of SDG 2 “Zero Hunger” on German agricultural policy. With the seminar, Prof. Lena Partzsch is continuing the project on the lecture “Stockholm+50: Five Decades of Global Environmental Policy” and the book “The Environment in Global Sustainability Governance” (open access). The project was awarded the Political Science Teaching Prize of the German Political Science Association (DVPW) and the Schader Foundation in 2023. Students are examining the implementation of the SDGs in Germany and the European Union.
In this podcast episode: The SDG 2 “Zero Hunger” aims to make our world a more sustainable and fairer place. But does it currently look like this will succeed? And are food security and sustainability in agriculture even compatible?
We talked about this with NABU President Jörg-Andreas Krüger. Listen in.
