In the current issue of the “Zeitschrift für Parlamentsfragen“(No. 3/2019) Marc S. Jacob, student assistant in our research group, documents and analyses the work of the informal interparty committee on the reform on the right to vote in the German Bundestag. The work committee explores at the beginning of the 19^th legislative session from 2017 to April 2019 in confidential framework the possible reform options on the reduction of the mandate numbers, but it did not come to any interparty compromise. The paper is based on interviews with four members of the working group and gives a glimpse into the current reform attempts of the Bundestag vote right.
