Univ.-Prof. Dr. Lena Partzsch
Professorin
Prof. Dr. Lena Partzsch hat zum Sommersemester 2022 die Professur für Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft mit Schwerpunkt Umwelt- und Klimapolitik übernommen. Zuvor leitete sie 2021 das Fachgebiet Umwelt-Governance an der Technischen Universität Berlin, vertrat den Lehrstuhl für Entwicklungspolitik an der Universität Passau (WS 2020-21) und die Professur für Vergleichende Regierungslehre an der Universität Erfurt (WS 2019-20 und SoSe 2020). Seit 2018 ist sie außerplanmäßige Professorin an der Universität Freiburg. An der Universität Münster wurde sie 2014 habilitiert und an der Freien Universität Berlin 2007 promoviert.
Ihre Forschung beschäftigt sich mit dem Wandel zu mehr Nachhaltigkeit sowohl im globalen Norden als auch Süden. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in führenden Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht. Sie erhielt 2016 den GAIA Best Paper Award, und die Fachzeitschrift Global Governance wählte ihren Beitrag “Take action now: The legitimacy of celebrity power in international relations” aus als besten Artikel 2018. Partzschs neustes Buch ist “Alternatives to Multilateralism: New Forms of Social and Environmental Governance” (Cambridge, MA: MIT Press 2020).
