The International Studies Association (ISA) is the world's leading network for scientists in the International Relations field. It unites over 6,500 members worldwide. ISA’s Annual Convention is the main event to meet most of these members. Next year the convention, which takes place for the 57th time and routinely draws over 6,000 visitors, will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, from Wednesday 16 March to Saturday 19 March. Scholars, practitioners, and students of international affairs will be making their way to Atlanta to discuss and exchange ideas in hundreds of panels and symposia under the headline “Exploring Peace“.
International Studies Association Convention 2016: The KFG in Atlanta
In Atlanta, the Hilton Atlanta will be ISA’s headquarters hotel, where registration, panels, meetings, receptions, and the president's address will take place. Additionally, some panels and meetings will also be located at Sheraton Atlanta, the co-headquarters hotel.
As in previous years, the Directors of the KFG, Prof. Dr. Tanja A. Börzel and Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse, as well as a number of fellows and alumni will be represented at the conference, to share their contributions to the field of international studies and to connect with colleagues from around the globe. Furthermore, there will be a reception hosted by the KFG, to which we kindly invite you!
Reception & Book Launch: The Oxford Handbook of Comparative Regionalism
The reception will take place on Wednesday evening, 16 March, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Hilton Atlanta. We are glad to launch the recently published Oxford Handbook of Comparative Regionalism, edited by KFG-directors Prof. Dr. Tanja A. Börzel and Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse.
