International Studies Association Convention 2015: The KFG is heading to New Orleans
Nov 28, 2014
In a few months scholars, practitioners and students of international affairs will be making their way to the 56th convention of the International Studies Association (ISA) to connect with colleagues from across the globe, to exchange ideas and discuss their most cutting-edge research. This year the convention, which takes place annually and routinely draws over 6000 visitors, will be held at the Hilton Riverside Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana, from February 16th- 21st, 2015.
As in preceding years, the KFG will be heading over the pond, to share its contributions to the field of international studies, to encourage new applications, and to consolidate its profile as a leading research college on the global diffusion of ideas. This year we would like to invite you to join us for a reception and presentation, hosted by KFG-directors Tanja Börzel and Thomas Risse, to be held on Thursday, February 19th, from 7:30 until 8:30pm, inside the Hilton Hotel’s Versailles Ballroom.
You will find the ISA schedule lined with events featuring KFG fellows past and present, who will be discussing their current work in panels and at roundtables. While the panel on “Comparative Regionalism: The State of the Art”, featuring both KFG-directors alongside current KFG fellow Emanuel Adler, as well as notable KFG alumnus Jeffrey T. Checkel, will certainly be a highlight, here you will find a detailed schedule of all events with contributions by KFG-fellows.
Last but not least, for the entire duration of the conference you will be able to find us inside the ISA exhibit hall at booth 601. Here our staff we will be answering questions regarding our fellowship programs, and will assist you in all other KFG-related inquiries. You will also be able to purchase our fellows’ latest publications.
With such a fantastic line-up of events we look forward to seeing you there!
