Global supply chains in focus - case studies from the Brazilian Amazon region and Cerrado (with Prof Dr Lena Partzsch)
Caritas Germany and Deutsche Umwelthilfe invite you to the round table Global Supply Chains in Focus - Case Studies from the Brazilian Amazon and Cerrado with Prof Dr Lena Partzsch and others. The occasion is a delegation trip by representatives of traditional communities affected by the impact of global supply chains in Brazil, as well as a new report by Deutsche Umwelthilfe on possible human rights violations in the German meat industry's supply chains. At the event, representatives from politics, science and business as well as German and Brazilian civil society will use two case studies to analyse the concrete effects of global supply chains on traditional communities and the environment. Based on this, options for action will be discussed and solutions developed. A German-Portuguese translation will be available.
