A new report, co-authored by Dr. Albert Denk, summarizes the scientific basis of the “Environmental Policy in Dialogue” project. Based on a secondary data analysis and a literature review, six groups (social figures) are described that are skeptical or negative towards environmental policy and who differ in their willingness to participate in environmental policy dialogues. The paper concludes with policy recommendations on how to engage different groups of people in open dialogue and participation processes on sustainability policy.
