At the general meeting of the Berlin branch of Friends of the Earth Germany (BUND) on November 15, 2020, Prof. Dr. Lena Partzsch gave a keynote speech entitled “Not Just an Inconvenient Truth: Climate Policy in Polarized Times.” The subsequent discussion focused on the power of environmental organizations, differences between eastern and western Germany, and how to deal with fake news. Possible solutions were also discussed.

The keynote was based on Prof. Partzsch's new paper on the relevance of narratives in the context of climate change:
