Dimitris Soudias

Dimitris Soudias was a research fellow at the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, between 2012-2013. He received his doctoral degree from Philipps-Universität Marburg, under the co-supervision of Prof Cilja Harders. His thesis, entitled "Neoliberalism as Crisis: Radical Imagination in Syntagma Square and Beyond" investigated the formation of politicized subjectivity in the Greece of austerity.
Dimitris' recent publications include "Spatializing Radical Political Imaginaries: Neoliberalism, Crisis, and Transformative Experience in the Syntagma Square Occupation in Greece" (Contention), and "Imagining the Commoning Library: Alter-Neoliberal Pedagogy in Informational Capitalism" (Journal of Digital Social Research).
