News from Mar 27, 2025

Every spring, the Institute of Sociology invites prospective students to attend an information session on the Master's program "Sociology - European Societies". During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights into the structure of the program and admission requirements. They will also meet with faculty members.

In order to allow students from all over the world to join, we hold the event online.

Program:

  1. Welcome remarks and program overview; Introduction of Freie Universität Berlin and the Institute of Sociology
  2. Master's program "Sociology – European Societies": structure, content, career prospects, admission requirements
  3. Final Q&A Session

The event is held in English. Participation is free of charge. No registration is required.

Please find the meeting information in the FLYER (download).

This event is not part of the admission process and serves solely informative and advisory purposes. Participating in the event does not give you any additional credit for the admission requirements. However, it should help you to get to know the Master program and to prepare for the application.

The Master Session event is about the MA program "Sociology - European Societies" exclusively.
