The Berlin Studies on the Sociology of Europe (BSSE) by the Chair of Macrosociology at Freie Universität Berlin are a place of prepublication of articles that will be published in journals and books later. They might help to profile a sociology of Europe, they are also part of the Master Programme "Sociology - European Societies". Topics of the articles are the analysis of the development of European social structure and culture, comparing analyses that broach the issue of differences and similarities between different European societies as well as theoretical attempts of a sociology of Europe. The studies' aim is to bring forward a scientific discussion by distributing those articles. The contributions are available via the Internet only.
