PolDem is an interactive data portal for political conflict in Europe in both the protest and the election arena. The project aims at providing the scientific community and wider public with continuously updated data on the main issues and actors in electoral and protest politics in Europe. PolDem is coordinated  by the European University Institute at the and the Center for Civil Society Research, a joint initiative by the Berlin Social Science Center and Freie Universität Berlin.
