DiMES (Digital Methods and Empirical Social Science Center) is an initiative to strengthen methodological training and research capabilities within all institutes of our department.

The program, led by Prof. Marko Bachl and Prof. Bruno Castanho Silva, offers several opportunities for engagement, including:

• workshops on advanced research methods (2-3 per term), led by expert instructors, open to faculty, postdocs, PhD students and advanced master students in PolSoz;
  
  
• Individual Methods Innovation Program, through which department members can apply for funding to cover expenses related to participation in external methods training programs or to develop or implement innovative methods teaching material.
