Dr. Johanna Schnabel and Dr. Antonios Souris coworked on the policy paper "30 Jahre Europaministerkonferenz. Handlungsoptionen und Visionen für die Zukunft" (30 years Ministers for Europe Conference. Options for Action and Visions for the Future"), published by the Hamburg-Vigoni Forum in light of the 30 anniversary of the Conference of the German states' (Länder) Ministers of Europe (EMK). Together with the Jean-Monnet-Chair of the Otto-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, the study analyzes the role, tasks and potentials of the EMK.

The Policy Paper was the basis for discussion panels between researchers and ministers, e.g. at the paper's panel in the envoy's office of Saxony-Anhalt in Berlin on 8 February 2023, or the "Europaforum im Palais" in Magdeburg on 28 November 2022.
