The research project investigates how ethnical, linguistic and regional / local identities are compatible with political reforms in Ukraine. Aadne Aasland, Ph.D. (Oslo), directs the project cooperating with Prof. Dr. Sabine Kropp, who will be examining the possibilities and limitations of reforms concerning decentralization and federalization. The Research Council of Norway is funding the project.
