Veronika Koller is Senior Lecturer in English Language at Lancaster University, the UK. Her research is located in the area of cognitive critical discourse analysis, with a focus on analyzing collective identity in different discourse domains, e.g. corporate, political or religious. She also works in the area of language, gender and sexual identity, and a special research interest of her is metaphor theory and analysis. For the latter, she regularly includes corpus linguistic methods in her work.

At the Winter Method School in Berlin, Veronika Koller will hold the session on critical discourse analysis.
