EU to Russia: Stay Out of Belarus!
The European Union and its member states should put maximum pressure on Russia to follow their example and not meddle with the internal affairs of Belarus. While the Belarussians keep protesting against the regime of Lukaschenko, Putin urges the EU not to interfer into Belarussian domestic affairs. In the meantime, Russia is backing Lukaschenkos dictatorship. Without the support of its big neihgbor, he would hardy be aible to stay in power, despite the massive use of violence by his security forces.
