Tobias has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Diploma of French and European Studies from the Institut d'Études Politiques in Lyon. Currently, he studies International Affairs in a dual degree between Sciences Po in Paris and Otto-Suhr-Institute here in Berlin.
Besides the role of Franco-German relations for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU, Tobias is especially interested in Europe's relation to the Middle East and North Africa. His studies led him on multiple field trips to Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Oman.
At the Center for International Relations Tobias supports research on International Organisations and transnational forest governance.
