Andreas Graf is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations with a focus on global environmental governance and international political economy at the Free University of Berlin, the Humboldt University of Berlin, and the University of Potsdam.
As part of the German-Indian Sustainability and Climate Change Dialogue Andreas Graf will be researching the implementation of access and benefit sharing (ABS) measures under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and their effectiveness as a mechanism for conserving biodiversity. In that context, Andreas will be undertaking studies at TERI, conducting interviews with relevant experts in government, industry and civil society, visiting biodiversity conservation sites, and attending COP 11 of the CBD. His project will contribute to research on the evolution of international regime complexes and their impact on global environmental governance.
