Annika Styczynski
doctorate student / Environmental Policy Research Centre
1. Nov – 31. Dec 2012
I am a second year doctorate student at the Environmental Policy Research Center at Free University Berlin. My research has evolved from energy politics (University of California, Berkeley) over environmental studies (Global Environmental Leaders Short Term Program at Nagoya University) to sustainable urban mobility, which my dissertation project is dedicated to.
With Delhi I am approaching a first case study in the development context and want to trace the socio-technical transition the National Capital Region has been going through to date and which challenges decision makers are facing today to make the transport system more sustainable.
My background, however, is in the cultural sciences (BA), political sciences and European studies (MA), both degrees received from European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (O.)
