On May 28, 2019 Klaus Jacob participated at the panel discussion “Climate Change: new controversial issue for the Populists?”. There he discussed amongst others with the „Fridays for Future“ - activist Carla Reemtsma about the position of right-wing populist parties in the European Parliament on climate change as well as possible countering strategies. Other participants were Prof. Dr. Marc Ringel, member in the speaking service TEAM EUROPE, and Stella Schaller from the think tank adelphi under the moderation of Prof. Tanja A. Börzel.
