The European Parliament has appointed Klaus Jacob as a member of the European Environment Agency (EEA) management board. The EEA based in Kopenhagen provides sophisticated, independent information on the environment to the European Union's institutions, its member states, decision-makers, and the public. As a management board member Mr. Jacob will support the EEA's strategic and programmatic direction.
