On Feb. 16th 2017, Klaus Jacob gave a talk on „Experiences in Lead-Market-Research and Conclusions for the LED-Lead-Market-Initiative” at the Conference LED – Climate Protection by Innovations, organized by the German Energy Agency, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment.

By examining examples of lead markets for environemtal innovation, he discussed the role of environmental policies in establishing such markets. Based on this, he assessed the ongoing leadmarket initiative for LED lightning. The program of the conference can be found here (German only).
