The symposium took place on Friday, 7th Nov. 2008, in Berlin. 25 external experts from 15 different European Memberstates have been invited and joined the symposium. After a short introduction of the concept of AVSA, two keynote-speakers (Walter Sucher from Germany and Hanna Andrezcyk from Poland) gave important impact concerning the main fields of interest of AVSA. Two discussion sessions took place, where crucial targets have been discussed with the experts, that have been divided into an group of TV and Radio professionals and a group of media researchers from channels or from private research institutions engaged in conducting surveys about the use of programmes in their Countries.
