Care became a key topic during pandemic. Two recent papers from the research team on Performative Publics give insights into the formation of publics addressing the challenges of both working conditions in hospitals, and the balancing of ‘private’ care work between family life and professional obligations. The articles also demonstrate the rich data corpuses and methods of the project, from social network analysis, and standardized tweet analysis, to ethnography.
