During the Annual Conference of the International and Intercultural Communication Division of the German Communication Association (DGPuK)  on “Overcoming the Divides? Towards Global Inclusivity in Communication Studies in Times of Uncertainty” at Salzburg University, our network hosted its second edition of a PhD workshop on 14 November 2024. The network members discussed the projects of four PhD students and consulted on topics such as journalistic practice in the media system in Myanmar, negotiating ethnic diversity on German TV, Russian-German actors’ social media communication and the relation between trust in media and media ownership in European comparison.
