This year the KFG and MAXCAP both will participate at the “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften” (Long Night of the Sciences) and will focus on a complex and current issue, entitled “Europe and Russia in Times of the Ukrainian Crisis”. The Long Night will kick off at 6pm with MAXCAP’s debate on potential solutions for the Ukrainian crisis. Four teams of students, representing the different parties to the negotiations in a “Minsk 3.0” scenario, will present their proposals of how this conflict can be brought to an end to the audience, which will decide on the most convincing proposition. At 8pm, the KFG will take over and shift the focus further towards the east with a panel discussion on “Between Europe and Eurasia: The EU and Russia”. Five experts will discuss EU-Russia relations in light of the Ukrainian crisis and the newly established Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
