The Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) and the Otto-Suhr-Institut für Politikwissenschaft at Freie Universität Berlin combined their experience and expertise in the education of managers on the one and political scientists on the other hand and established a Franco-German Dual Degree Master's program in "Public Policy & Management" in the fall of 2009. The program combines studies in economics, political science and public administration.

Within the framework of the program, students obtain two internationally recognized degrees:

• Master in Management at HEC Paris
• Master of Arts in "Public Policy und Management" at Freie Universität Berlin
